NETWORKING and PROMOTION:
The BCEIA facilitates unique networking and promotional opportunities for its Members throughout the year both online and off.  By bringing together key local, national and international guest speakers, agencies and decision makers, BCEIA Members are provided a professional platform from which to foster strategic partnerships and expand their business in the real world.  In the virtual world, the BCEIA aggressively promotes the profile, products and services of its Members through a growing constellation of high-traffic information portals, digital newsletters, news updates and web resources like its online Member Directory with company profiles.

MARKET and REGULATORY INFORMATION:
The weekly news update provides current business opportunity and regulatory information, including editorial comments for managers in the industry and reviews and summaries of changes to provincial and federal legislation.

STRONG EFFECTIVE INDUSTRY LIAISON and ADVOCACY: BCEIA serves as a common window to, and a common voice from, the environment industry. BCEIA vocalizes on behalf of the industry on matters related to procurement, regulatory reform and environmental policy, taking a proactive approach in communicating industry concerns.

PROFESSIONAL GROWTH: BCEIA facilitates practical technical and business workshops, focusing on environmental regulations, contaminated sites, licensed environmental professional training, and workshops designed to assist member companies to take advantage of the many government programs that provide assistance to companies in the sector.

COMPANY GROWTH: Through trade show support, hosting incoming trade delegations, and providing market intelligence and strong relations with federal, provincial and municipal agencies, BCEIA provides opportunities for company growth within BC, Canada and abroad.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT: Through the BCEIA website, resumes on new entrants to the environmental sector are available to BCEIA member companies in search of new talent to serve this rapidly growing and dynamic sector. BCEIA is supported by an active pool of student volunteers and maintains regular contact with educational institutions throughout the province.

PARTNERSHIPS: BCEIA has established partnerships with other organizations and other institutions active in the environmental business sector in British Columbia, most notably with the GLOBE Foundation of Canada. This partnership makes available to BCEIA members access to GLOBE Series events, the GLOBE-Net on-line guide to the business of the environment, and opportunities to interact with visiting delegations in search of innovative technologies and practical solutions to pressing environmental problems.

BUYERS GUIDE: The BCEIA Buyers Guide will provide a comprehensive directory of companies, research organizations, business and professional associations, legal and financial resource providers and academic institutions active in the environmental sector of British Columbia
