Our focus is on New Zealand businesses and industry sectors with high potential for growth.

Project Highlights

New Zealand Clean Technology

New Zealand historically has been a pioneer in a number of clean technology areas including geothermal energy and the use of cleaner burning fuels for transport fleets such as compressed natural gas and liquid petroleum gas.

With the advantage of experience, New Zealand is seizing the opportunities presented by global markets and investors hungry for clean technology offerings.  Some of our strongest offerings are in:

*     renewable energy
*     energy efficiency
*     clean transportation
*     waste and waste water treatment
*     waste to energy
*     bio-fuels
*     sustainable agriculture

The impact of both industrial and household energy consumption on carbon footprints is much lower in New Zealand than in much of the world because we harness renewable sources such as hydro, wind and geothermal for over two-thirds of our electricity.

New Zealand is looking to partner with others in our quest to develop a range of world-changing technologies that harness renewable materials and energy sources, dramatically reduce the use of natural resources, and limit or eliminate emissions and wastes.
