Mr. Mark Adamson is a Professional Geoscientist registered in BC.  After a brief period of gold exploration in Western Australia his career focus has been on the assessment, remediation and development of contaminated sites. Mark has over ten years of experience in geo-environmental consulting and has worked on a range of projects from urban re-generation of “Brownfield” land in the UK and Ireland; to environmental clean up of remote pulp mills on the BC Coast. Mark has contributed to the academic community throughout his career serving as a local secretary to a Geological Society of London regional group, acting as a mentor to environmental engineering students in Dublin and has authored technical papers on contaminated site remediation. He moved to Canada in March 2004 and is employed as a Senior Environmental Scientist with Golder Associates in Burnaby, BC. His current role includes providing project management services to the Crown Contaminated Sites Branch of the BC Provincial Government.
