ALS Environmental is one of the largest, most geographically-diverse, environmental testing companies in the world. Currently we have 17 laboratories and two representative offices strategically located in Canada, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Australia, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia, India and Indonesia to provide our clients with analytical and technical support for local and international projects.

ALS Environmental is the environmental testing division of the ALS group of laboratories (ALS), which provides laboratory services in the fields of environmental, minerals, oils, electronics, ecotoxicology, forensics, and food. Based in Brisbane, Australia, ALS has 46 laboratories operating in 21 countries staffed by about 1,800 employees. Our Vancouver operation was established in 1982 and operated under the name ASL Analytical Service Laboratories Ltd. until April 2001, when the company merged with the ALS group of laboratories. It is now the headquarters for ALS Environmental in North and South America. Our Calgary laboratory opened in June 2002 and our Fort St. John laboratory opened in November 2003.
