All-Wood has fast become the industry leader in the portable wood chipping in Western Canada. Most pulp mills still rely on chip supplies from nearby sawmills or supplement their chip requirements by hauling logs to the mill and chipping on site. However, for mills in Peace River, Alberta that have switched to portable chipping in the forests and only haul clean chips to the mill for processing, the results have been outstanding. Cost savings are realized from higher efficiencies and much improved utilization of the wood basket.
