Environmental Technology Students available for Internship with BCEIA Members Students available for 12-16 week internships beginning January 2013
Kwantlen's Environmental Protection Technology students are in
an ASTTBC accredited program designed by industry representatives
to meet the demands of organizations such as BCEIA member
companies. These enthusiastic students, with a variety of
backgrounds and experience, are available for 12-16 weeks beginning
January 2013.
What can they do?
- Air, water and soil field sampling
- Solid, liquid and air treatment methods
- Waste minimization
- Hazardous goods and waste handling methods
- WHMIS implementation and compliance evaluation
- Emergency planning and spill response methods
- Recycling and waste minimization program design
- Environmental law, issues, analysis and ethics
- Computer software competency
