FUNDING FOR ENVIRONMENTAL
TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION

You are invited to the BC Environment Industry Association - Environment Canada – Pacific and Yukon Region workshop on Funding for Environmental Technology Innovation

Tuesday, March 20, 2007, 8:00 - 4:30
Canada Export Centre 602 West Hastings Street Vancouver, BC


This Workshop will provide:

  • An update on the Federal Government ecoENERGY and ecoFREIGHT initiatives and new funding programs for environmental innovation
  • An overview of the Government of British Columbia’s new strategy to support environmental innovation (To be confirmed)
  • Presentation on 2010 Sustainable Business opportunities
  • Details on other funding programs for demonstration projects
  • Guest Speaker Presentations plus Case Studies showing how small-to-medium enterprises in BC have benefited from government funding programs to implement environmental innovation
  • Environment Canada demonstration on how to access and navigate through a new website that provides important information on a broad range of government funding programs targeting environmental technology innovation
  • Opportunities for informal networking with presenters, other government resource people, and to share insights and experiences with other participants.
  • Participants will have the opportunity to arrange One-on-One meetings with presenters, following completion of all presentations.
