PTAC seeking funding for waste heat recovery in upstream oil and gas
The PTAC facilitated TEREE (Technology for Emission Reduction and Eco-efficiency) Steering Committee is seeking project partners for a study that will focus on characterizing the most prevalent waste heat recovery (WHR) opportunities in upstream operations. Scenarios will be ranked based on available energy and potential for on-site power use and/or electrical distribution to the grid. This project will identify suitable and proven power conversion solutions, as well as developing technologies with commercialization potential, and evaluate each in terms of capital and operating costs, technology risk, efficiency and reliability.
