Green Building Codes and Policies WorkshopJessica Woolliams, BC Director of the Cascadia Region Green Building Council, reports ther Council will host a workshop on Green Building Codes and Policies, June 27, 9AM - 1PM, followed by an interactive workshop 1PM - 5PM, at the Floral Hall, VanDusen Botanical Garden 5251 Oak Street. This workshop will focus on what green building code and policy work has been done locally and internationally that could be a useful model when considering the current choices faces by the BC government and BC municipalities. This event will be useful for municipalities, developers, architects, engineers, home builders, urban planners, municipalities and others wanting to stay ahead of the code, and to give input into code development.
