Ivey International Earns Business Achievement Award

BCEIA Member Ivey International (www.iveyinternational.com) takes home the Bronze Medal in the category of ‘Technology & Equipment: Small Firms’ from the Environmental Industry Summit held yesterday in Coronado, California.

The medal was presented by the Environmental Business Journal and awarded in recognition of Ivey’s successful business growth in 2007; growing an estimated 300% via expansion into the Australasian market.

Ivey International’s core business revolves around air, soil and groundwater remediation and one of the company’s most successful applications is the Ivey-Sol® surfactant remediation process – a rapid and cost-effective method for onsite clean-up.

Ivey-Sol® is a selective phase transfer technology (SPTT) that removes petroleum hydrocarbons (gasoline, fuel oil, diesel) and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH) contaminants from soil, groundwater and fractured bedrock.  Ivey-Sol® is further used to treat chlorinated solvents and heavy metals.

This marks the second time in as many years that that the Ivey Team has been recognized for its pioneering work in the environment industry.  The company received a GLOBE Foundation Award for outstanding technical ingenuity in the development or application of an innovative technology process in 2006.
