SEPTEMBER 13, 2017 – Administrative Guidance 3 “Applying for Contaminated Sites Services” underwent revision earlier this year as a result of Stage 10 (Omnibus) amendments to the Contaminated Sites Regulation.
Changes to general instructions included the requirement to submit reports and plans in a paper and electronic format for which a review or other service is requested, or as required for site risk classification purposes.
Following an internal review of this change in administrative process, effective immediately, applications submitted with the recommendation of a Contaminated Sites Approved Professional (CSAP Society member), will be accepted by the ministry in electronic format only. The submission requirements of the CSAP Society remain in effect.
Applications submitted for ministry review should include both a paper and an electronic copy of reports, figures and plans; however laboratory reports will be accepted by the ministry in electronic format only.
